Maryport Trawler Race on Saturday 30 June 2018
The Race starts approx 12.30. Children’s entertainment, face painting, birds of prey demonstrations and a children’s fair. The emergency services will be on hand showcasing their equipment and demonstrating what they do.

West Cumbria Percy Kelly Trails
A series of trails stretching from Allonby to St.Bees exploring the landscape and buildings that inspired the artist Percy Kelly.They are suitable for all grades of fitness from a short stroll to a challenging coastal walk. All can all be reached by public transport.

Lakes Alive
The Lakes will again be Alive to the sights and sounds of this annual cultural extravaganza. The team are back together and plans to entertain, wow and delight all who attend this year’s Lakes Alive are hotting up as the count-down begins to the event 7 – 9 September 2018.

Silloth Music & Beer Festival
The Silloth Music & Beer Festival will take place this year from Thursday 6th September to Sunday 9th September 2018 on Silloth Green. The festival is organised by the committee of Silloth Music Festivals Ltd. which is a not-for-profit company; any profits made are either ploughed back into improving future festivals or helping other music events on The Green.
